Lost OD today
on the way home from college today (in the 95 SSE), my transmission would not shift into Overdrive... i was at over 3K RPMS @ 70 mph. moving the shift lever between D and OD had no effect... i thought maybe the lever was just a bit finicky and i even tried in and out of neutral just for the heck of it. but no luck. Letting off the gas and coasting, getting back into it, etc. didn't seem to ave an effect either. It shifted fine up until this point, never noticed any slippage, or anything. No codes.
any suggestions?

When your PCM detects a certain amount of slip rpm'* in lockup, it disengages and will not attempt lockup again on that 'run'. You can cycle it (reset) by doing this without stopping the car. Pay attention to the tach and give us a good description of what it does on FIRST lockup for that run cycle, as it may give an indication if it'* even trying. No SES light? It'* an indicator of nasty fluid, which can be an indicator of clutch wear (usually 2nd gear clutches on the 60'*).
Check your fluid level, smell, and color after driving as well, while it'* stirred up.
