Default Leaking rear shock?

I found these wet spots while rotating my tires today. Seems like weird spots for it to be fluid from the shocks.

Any ideas or recommendations of things to check or replace?

Thanks for any replys,

Vinnie

The air shocks are worn out and need to be replaced. That fluid is oil from the shock.

The rubber boot that holds the air in starts to dry rot over time and lets the oil from inside the shock leak out. As the shock goes up and down as you drive, it gets oil on the top and bottom. Monroe makes a nice replacement strut for that.

Makes sence. Is there a replaceable strut mount up top? Are they normally replaced? I see Monroe does a quick strut for $100 a piece.

there is a mount up top that can be replaced, i put new mounts when i did my rears

i would not do the quick struts up front, as you might get the incorrect spring rate with the new strut

Isn't the Quick Strut for the front?

They have them for rear too. I know all about the quickstruts from the GP and I hear they suck but I know very little about the Bonne suspension.

The quickstrut for the rear is the strut and mount already assembled. That would be the ideal way to go. I always recommend replacing the mount when you replace the strut anyways.
