Leaking problem
I started my car today and I noticed after a couple minutes there was smoke comming from the motor.I checked it out and it looked like antifreeze(green) was comming from the back driver side of the motor maybe my valve cover?
There'* no coolant under the valve covers so it'* not that. Sounds like either your UIM just went kaput or you lost your LIM gasket. If it'* the LIM gaskets, best case would be to get a new UIM with a reduced diameter stovepipe (if you haven't already) as well as get new LIM gaskets (metal frame, new GM style).

Probably should try to pinpoint the leak before jumping on a repair.
Can you go and look for any trails or traces of where the leak is originating? Look at all sides of the engine for signs of coolant. What about where the heater hoses connect to the engine? What about the coolant elbow or waterpump?
Oops... reread and you said drivers-side and all those things I just mentioned were passenger side. How about the throttle body....look underneath to see if you have traces of coolant.
