My starter was going and I thought it was weird bec I feel like I just had a starter replaced not too long ago. So for a few days I had to get under the car and play with it to start the car. Luckily I have the auto statrt so I didn't need a buddy to turn the key while I was under. I realized after a few times that the starter motor was fine it was just that the weld that connects the solenoid to the starter was loose. When I found my reciept it has actually been since Jan 2003 since last starter. The good thing is that it was a special order from Pep Boys and they couldn't remember where they ordered from so they did'nt know if 1 yr, 3yr or lifetime so they gave me part for free I just paid like $90 for install. 3 days later My ac compressor starts seizing and smoking so back to Pep Boys. Had to pay $597 for reman compressor, new dryer, freon and I told them I would do my own belts. I then went to Autozone and ordered my Gatorbacks which will be here on 9-3-04. I hope the next thing I have to spend $$ on are the mods I want; Real CAI and exhaust.
