Default Intake Leak ?

I have 95' LeSabre Vin L car. Is this car in danger of the usual intake leak problems of the Series II engines? It currently has 115,000 miles on it, is it ready to go at anytime?

VIN L cars are not affected by the notorious UIM problem with the L36s. You have the L27. However, the lower intake gaskets on the L27 will degrade over time. It'* not a bad idea to replace the lower intake gaskets as a one-time maintenance. And at the same time replace the upper intake gaskets.

In 95 didn't this car also get the S2 motor instead of S1 and wouldn't the vin be a K? Or did GM hold off on putting the K in it for a year or so?

The Buicks didn't get the L36 until 96. They were the oddball that still got the L27 in 95.

The only problem you may run into is, there is a rubber seal between the UIM and the LIM that
WILL start to leak vary simple to change did it on my van, besides that i got no probs. at 156k with the L motor
