Default Instrument Cluster

Ok I just got this car fixed but now the instument cluster, climate control, and radio lights are all dark when the headlight switch is pulled. I know about turning the **** that didn't work still dark. Could it be the rhonstat blew? Or if its an open what are the wires and where could it be?

I'm actually having the same exact problem. When the headlights are turned on, the compass and error computer dim, but the radio display, backlights and dash lights do not come on at all. All exterior lights work fine and the interior lights come on when I turn the **** all the way clockwise. I checked all fuses and none are blown.

Still headlight switch likely? Any other possibilities?

Default almost same

Headlight switch most likely culprit. Mine is doing almost the same thing. interior lights do NOT come on when turned fully left, but exterior lights work well. my radio and gauge lights are sporadic at working, and they do not dim, but rather go from fully bright to off to dimm, to off, to almost off.
I replaced switch a few weeks ago, and all are working normally now.

I had the same problem on my 95. If you remove your dimmer switch, and semi-dissamble it you can see the potentiometer'* carbon track. Mine was burned in one spot. I dont think that this is extremely common. Btw you can clean the resistive track with a pencil eraser. If I remember correctly the headlight/dimmer switch is not cheap, but does have a lifetime warrenty(I believe). Might be a trip to the junk yard in order.
