Default I'm wondering....

Would a bad ball joint cause a tranny-slip-feel when you turn the wheel towards the bad ball joint (the driver'* side) while on the throttle??? :?

Well it might not be a ball joint but just a trans mount problem. That would definatly effect it when turning.
