You should at least check if you have spark the next time it stalls to at least rule out the possibility of an elctrical problem.
Just carry a spare spark plug with you, pull off a wire and insert onto the plug.
Have someone crank it while you ground the electrode aginst the manifold.
Has the tech checked the fuel pressure at the rail? Is it OK?
Fuel and spark cause a car to stall in 90% of the cases.

This sounds like an electrical issue with the ICM, or bad connector, or crank sensor.
My SSE did the EXACT same thing this summer.
Try the spark thing if it stalls again.
Or if your good with cars pull off the ICM harness (toward radiator) clean the connections and tighten up on the pin sockets.
Its worth a try and only takes about 10 min.
Also is it the original crank sensor on the car?

Well, anywho. The shop said that they can't find the problem because it is so intermintent. So, I'm left in a perplexing situation. I don't have the time or money to do this by myself, and I can't be certain of what it is. So, my mom doesn't really feel comfortable with me driving it. I could pull out onto the highway thinking that it will be able to get up to speed in time, and it could stall. My mom wants me to sell it and I am starting to lean that way also. I have been sort of wanting to get a newer bonneville for some time now and I guess that this is sort of pushing me to get a newer bonnie. I am still in love with the car but I am sort of afraid to drive it, in fear of stalling out in a bad situation. I'm not exactly sure of what it is that I am going to do. I would like to sleep on it tonight and have a decision tomarrow. I will update you guys when I know what I'm going to do.
