Id feel better If I knew what I'm going to be replacing! any ideas? what we know
-Is part of igni.
-hard starting(when COLD--not run for 10+hours)
-runs fine
-under hard WOT it bogs down when hot.
Coil packs? These and the wires were not replaced when engine was rebuilt. The hard to get to sensors where replaced. (cam/crank)
-stalled out going around a corner-on the decell... (started right back up)
-just now at idle it goes between 700-900 rpm and its making the belt tensioner crackle..
-stalls out at idle now.

If you're pulling your wires, pull your plugs and inspect them while you're at it. They'll tell the story

ok, just gotta let the car cool for a while, but anyway she started fine this morning. I went out for a brunch type thing, and I was idling in traffic (rpms started to switch back and forth from 800-900). I got an SES light, so I pulled codes right there, and I got an E044 current(meaning happening currenty) and a E017 history (not happening at the moment). I wouldnt think gm would create all new codes for a different vehicle so if you could plug that e044 in... that would be great bill... thanks... I'm trying not to drop the car off where I got the engine done because it would probably be weeks before I would see it again. :?

We have only numeric codes. Not sure what the letters mean, bud.

You're going to have to do some internet surfing. I'll dig out my GM cartridge manual for the Actron scantool and see what I can find today, though. No gaurantees.

I pull a plug, it looks very rustic, and the electrode domes up at the tip (with a the right sized gap) so it appears worn... These plugs should only be 3,000kms old... Its dubble platium so I cant take sand paper to it. It does look like a cross between high speed glazed and worn. I dont think i'll change them just yet, but I'll check the rest of the plugs as I go. :?

I'd ditch the platinums ASAP. Go to a pure copper plug with your problems. Either NGK V-Power or AC Delco coppers.

Bah!! :?
After apox. 30mins of intown moderate driving It stalled on a right hand turn. It runs absulty fine now that I changed out the wires, and pluged the vacuum lines back in. Could this be a fuel filter or bad gas? Ive had fuel filter problems before, and when that happens the car is bucking and backfiring... this car is running/starting great. IF it where electrical(ignition) I would be getting an SES light... right?
