Default ICM Ground Placement

I took my ICM off to check it out and didn't note where the ground was mounted at.

Does it go between the ICM mounting plate and engine? or does it go on the stud after the plate is mounted and is held in place by the support bracket that goes to the alternator?

Does it even matter??

I think there are grounds on the bottom of the ICM that touch its mounting bracket.

The Series II mounts the grounding cable for the ICM to the leading cylinder head nearest the radiator actually.
