Default I Think its Dead....

So yea i was getting ready to the MN meet when i took off to the gas station and my friend said that i was blowing smoke.... so i came home any it was running really bad. i shut it off. when back after it cooled off and it wouldnt start.

I just replaced the spark plugs, plug wires and changed the oil like 2 weeks before this happend.

So smoke + oil covered new plugs + used a ton of coolant + no start = What????

DRAIN YOUR OIL IMMEDIATELY BEFORE YOU RUST YOUR CRANK AND ROD BEARINGS.

Do NOTHING else after reading this except to IMMEDIATELY drain your oil. You cannot afford to ruin your engine. Remove all 6 spark plugs as well.

On the 1998

1. Upper intake manifold was replaced at 58,755 miles. It was replaced on 9/9/03. Is it possible the newer design of the manifold wasn't out yet and its still the old design that is prone to fail?

2. Lower intake gasket, this has to be done also correct?

3. Anything else I have to worry about/replace in the engine so it doesn't throw a rod or blow?
Please start a TOPIC of your own. We discourage PM help. Nobody benefits from it if it'* not posted publicly.

There is one thing you'll need to ensure they realize the upper failed. In some cases if they don't see many 3800'*, they may not realize why and just swap the parts onto it.
