i went back out and checked the arm, now the fist time i done this i disconnected the vac line that was on top (front) of the BCA and that vac line didnt go to the BCS it went to something on top of the supercharger, but this time i done as you asked and disconnected the vac line that goes from the BCA to the BCS, now, that vac line comes off the BCA at the bottom (rear). when i did it as you ask me too the actuator didnt drop (extened).

I'm sitting at my desk and can't look at my car, so I might have the hoses mixed up. The key is to have the arm on the BCA fully extended when you take it for a ride, and plug any open vac hoses. This will put your car into full boost. When you do a petal-to-the-metal accelerations the boost gage should go to the top.
Tell me how that compares to what you did, and maybe try it one more time. If this doesn't work we will have to get Danthurs back on. He knows more about this than I.

i would like to thank you for all the time you have spent with me on this problem and i really aperreciate it. im not quite shure what you mean by the boost gauge should go to the top, my gauge starts at -70 moves up to 0 and continues down to +70 my needle goes up past 0 and keeps on going to +17.5 but wont go past that.

I'm sorry, I meant the needle on the boost gage should go all the way to the top when you have the actuator arm fully extended and a WOT acceleration.
When you remove vac hoses so the arm is fully extended is the engine running, or off? We need to get it so the arm is fully extended with the engine running.

i think i might be confusing what you are tring to tell me so lets make sure i`m on the right page. my boost gauge is in the shape of a half moon, the top of the half moon is `0` the right bottom side of the half moon is `-70` and the left bottom side of the half moon is `+70` so when i go WOT with the vac. line disconnected and the arm fully extended the needle goes from `-70` up past `0`and down the other side towards `+70` it stops at `+17.5` is the needle supost to go to `+70`

It should go almost all the way to +70 with the BCA arm fully extended and a WOT acceleration. Back to your earlier description, it should go to the 3/4 mark or the 7/8 mark, not just to the 5/8 mark.

i went back out and done it all again to make sure i was doing everything right as per your instructions.
this time when i told the car out for a run with the vac. line disconneted and then reconnected the result was the same.
the boost gauge went up to 3/4 for about 1 second and then dropped to 5/8 but it NEVER goes near +70
i would have to say at this point it all seems to be working but maybe the boost could be a bit higher
i wish i knew someway to get more boost but the car has 260,000km in it and i guess this is just part of it.

No reason we can't get it running like new.
I would suggest you install a new boost control solenoid. Call the dealership, tell them you want to check availability, and get the part number. Then check around the auto parts stores in your area for the best price. You can also try online at rockauto.com.
This is a very easy part to replace.
Once that is done, tell us how the car peforms and we can decide what to do next.
