that part number (which i linked to) should be good for 93-95 NA VIN L RPO L27 engines

Can't be right. The NA 95 is a Series 2. Bigger TB.

yea the gasket fit right into the groove like it should of. the new gasket is improved design that is a little thicker so it makes a better seal. Series 2 is a whole different design. The series 2 gasket will not fit. that 95 bulletin might have an amendment to it
