Yes I would use my existing */C. Do you think I could bring like a Ram 1500 Hemi up to NY and use some type of tow kit to bring it back? What do recommend for cheapest transport?

I have the dash sitting next to me. I know the oil guage is funny on it, but the rest works. Just needs a little board switched and it'll work fine.

My dad can't haul it unfortunately. He said that it would easy to get a tow dolly from like Uhaul that you could return there so you didn't have to drive up with it.

It would be best to tow it on a trailer, or even a dolly, but I would recommend real rims and tires vs donut is any of the wheels are going to be on the road.

I'm gonna pass on coming up for the motor. I've decided to go with a another motor I found on line w 58,000 miles. The guy wants $895.00 plus $90 to ship to me from Texas. I don't have the money yet but I'm gonna raise it and go with the lower mileage engine for longevity. Thanks for your help!

Woo I'm from philly too. Try al'* auto in trevose. www.als-auto.com . But be very careful if you buy from them. I think I heard of someone buying a series 2 L67 and they didn't include the supercharger.. So, ask a ton of questions etc. I have heard other people doing business there sucessfully too though. They also do installs.
There are a few you-pull-it yards in Bristol. Just north of philly. Theres this one my friend was telling me about I'll do some investigating.

Ok I called my friend about the other u-pull-it yard.
I don't have the address for either of them but I do know how to get to them. They are actually located in Morrisville PA.
In the picture below #1 is one I haven't been to but this friend of mine has. He'* pretty reliable and said they have a large domestic section.
#2 is a place I have gone to alot. They are called Cresent U-PULL-IT. Their number is 215-295-6761. I have yet to see a */c motor in there but you might want to call anyway.
As you can see #1 is 2 mins. from #2. I know #2 will pull the motor for you but I'm not 100% that #1 will. Sorry I don't have any more information on #1..

Tyburn Road (not Old Tyburn Road) intersects with Route 13 just to the left of that pic.
If you need any more help with directions just let me know.
Also, you may want to look up places in the phone book too.
