I gotta do the dreaded air mix actuator - need part info
Well I guess since I just stuck a new PCM in this thing I might as well try to put some
more miles on it before it dies. Anyway I will have to change the air mix actuator because I am roasting like a chicken inside this thing. I have searched and researched BC and believe I have the knowledge to do it. I just need to know the cheapest place to get the part. Does GMPD have it for a good price? Can someone forward the part number?
95 SSEi with ECC.

It looks like the actuator number is 16124942 for non-ECC Bonnes. But I can't tell the
number for a 95 SSEi with ECC. I need the one you used for a swap in that thread, but I can't read the part number.

Yeah I know... I'm just too good... Thats what happens when you have to work on them a lot of the time... After a while its a matter of " Oh yeah that will only take a few minutes "..... But don't let us tell you about all of the blood shed...
LMAO..
I did a lot more searching, and crossed some numbers to get the right GM part number I needed to find the right actuator..
That Actuator was used from 91-99... And so was mine.... LOL

Now my actuator has gone south!
New to group... and now my 16141822 actuator has gone south; 95 Bonne, 142k miles, still runs great, already did the upper intake maniforld, ac compressor, all struts, water pump 2 times, brakes once, master cylinder more times than I want to admit (crap parts til I got the Bosch)... anyway I've been working on it here and there for a lotta years already, and now the actuator is gone - very limited rod movement, so gears are probably stripped/binding.
So my question is - is there a shortcut? I've read where someone said if he knew how to get the passenger side airbag out it would've been easy - is it possible? has someone here done it through the airbag hole? I'm old and lazy and just don't want to pay dealer prices... so will do watever it takes, but sure would like to hear a shortcut
thanks in advance,
jeff
