Okay, I am very new to the world of Bonnevilles, I just bought a 96, I have no Idea wheather it is a SE SSE or what ever or how to find out, I only drove it once and have not even brought it home yet....its bought and paid for...but still sitting on the lot lol....

Oh yeah, HUD? Heads up display of some sort I assume? where would it be? how do I know if I have it?

ok, the first thing is, look on the side of the doors. If it has a SSEi badge, thats a dead giveaway as to what it is.
Seriously, the foglights on the SE'* are lower and off to the sides, like my car in my sig. The SSE'* and SSEi'* have the foglights more towards the center and higher in the bumper.

And the HUD (heads up display) is just like in a fighter pilot'* helmet. It'* displayed in your line of sight on the windsheild so that you can get your speed and other info without having to look down at your dash.

Give it a few weeks here, and you'll be amazed at what you learn.

Well, I did pop the hood after the test drive, it has the 3800 series II NA. At least I do know that much lol, I am sure I could spot a supercharger lol. So far you guys are awesome. Fast and friendly with the replys. They were asking $4K for this car, I talked them down to 3.5 and they even counted the $100 I already paid them for use of a rental before I decided to buy this, so all and all before tax and title I picked it up for $3400. I posted some of what I do know (not much) about the car in another post ( the new member section ). Again, thanks alot.

Oh, and if anyone is intrested, I will snap a few pics with the digital and try to get them posted tomarrow after I get her home.

Yeah it has to be a SE! Does it have leather seats? And where are the electronic seat controls on the center console or on the side of the seat? Lots of things are different than a SSE/ SSEi !

No leather, controls are on the side. So....I am guessing it would be an SE?
