Default HVAC Removal

Trying to remove HVAC from a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville SLE. I have the connector loose but am having trouble with the vacuum lines. I have the 7mm nut removed but can't seem to get the lines loose. Don't want to damage them. Does the square plastic socket come out with lines or just the soft rubber vacuum line retainer and all lines as a group.

Didn't have enough patients. It comes off but requires a little at a time. You have to keep going around the connector moving it out a little at a time. Any way I got it with no messed up lines.

Sorry we didn't get to you in time. Most here haven't messed with it. It'* one of those things you swing out of the way to get to the real problem.

They can be a PITA for full removal.
