Valve cover gaskets won't have an effect on oil pressure. That whole top end of your engine breathes through the PCV anyway. Replace your fuel injector O-rings before re-installing them. Soak them in Fuel System treatment overnight also.

Darn it! Everytime I want to chime in with instruction someone beats me to it. I don't know as much as u guys so it'* really cool when I get to tell someone how to do something here rather than just freeloading info all the time. I wanted to give the injection removal instruction. Shucks! :(

humm I wonder why the oil pressue got increased. I didn troq the intake to spec their was one bolt that was little lose mind you not were it is leaking. It is leaking on the back side.Mind you never lose much oil after a 3000 miles. I will soak the fuel injector overnight and replace the gasket.

Did you changed the oil. That could be the increase in pressure.

Bill, believe me...I know there is no way valve cover gaskets can change pressure...unless a port is clogged. But that would usually lead to a spun bearing if the oil doesn't find another route.

Speaking of the PCV, is there supposed to be an O-ring in there? I changed mine about a year ago and there wasn't an O-Ring on the old one. Now i'm worried i might have done something bad without it. Yes there is an O ring on the outside body of the PCV.
Yours might be stuck down in the hole.

no I didn't change the oil my oil is changed evey 3000 miles.most of the time under that It only had 200 miles on that oil changes. I know that changing the value cover oesn't rasie oil pressure. Pertty sure the car doesn't have a spun bearing the motor run very queit most time idle you can't hear. Motor never seems to lack power. I stumped about that. As long the motor has power and sounds great I am not going to worry.

Getting back to that O-ring again....is there a part number or size that anyone has written down? I've checked again and there definitely is no O-ring on my PVC. The only seal is the one which is between the PVC cover and the supercharger, and that one is a bit ripped. When i called my GM partsman, he said there was no O-ring, then when i asked him if he was sure, for a supercharged engine...he finally said that there SHOULD be one, but he didn't have it. I'm still looking for one, since i probably should replace the PVC and get it set up right this time. Don't know if that kills gas mileage but mine has certainly been down the last year over what it was the previous 3 years. Thanks all.
