How to fix the headlight?
Hello,
My 94 bonneville'* right headlight was broken. The lens is OK so far but the transparent plastic cover(? is this is right name for this part) is broken into 2 pieces. Can I just replace this one instead to buying a new whole headlight ( this is too expensive for me to buy one)?
I found a website that have cover for sale.

Is this right part?
Thanks for your great help.

The headlight asembly is the headlight and it'* mount.
The headlight is what you need.
the headlght cover is a clear plastic peice.
Just betting though. Don't buy some $200 part til someone else chimes in.

If it is the first one, why I can not just use it to replace my broken one? I checked my broken headlight. The mount, lens, buble are all alright but the plastic transparent piece is broken. I found there are two clips for holding this plastic piece on the light.
What is the part that you give part GM# 16514294 ? I tried but can not find the part. Is it some kind seal?
Thank you vry much
I don't see a cover here, but what you need is the $139 part.

You can probably look at a local bone yard and find a headlight assembly for much cheaper than just the cover, and plus you wont have to worry about a good seal to keep out moisture!
(If you have put one together you would know what I mean!)
