headlight looks like this

i think the pitting is too deep into the lens to really do anything

andrew, i think that between the two of us we should be able to find something that works.. believe it or not, but the best thing that i have used to clean the lights is 3M bag and tar remover... it got rid of some of the pitting (not much) but it cleaned the lenses well, and made them super clear

the problem isnt really of the clearness.... just the pitting.. in the daylight from 5 ft you cant even tell... 5 ft at night its terrible...

trust me, i know, mine are exactly the same way, maybe even worse....

i found some procedures online to re surface them by wet sanding, wet sanding, wet sanding, wet sanding, wet sanding, from 400 stepping up to 3000 grit sandpaper tehn follwed by a polishing process

id much rather get alot of other things for 300 bucks for xmas than a new set of headlights...
