i work on my car all the time and that thing drove me nuts. i always look at my gauges/heads up display, and look at my car when i leave it to make sure the lights arent on anyways. the pics came from my cardomain page 3. I tried doing it to my friend'* explorer and yah it definately was connected to the windows so they didnt work unless it was connected. but if you are installing something you can disconnect it then reconnect it when you are done if you want to keep your chime box.

well what is a real bummer right now...i cant do anything to my car until i get it back... i finally got it towed from my house yesterday to a garage to get it fixed...for those of you that dont know or dont remember... im the one that was in a car accident that posted pics of what it looked like...lol I cant wait to get it back....lol
