Properly adjusted latch and stops should not flutter. If you have flutter, adjust. If you go too far, it may be tricky getting your hood to release.

Had a friend who over-did his, and had a devil of a time getting the hood open. As stated, do a little at a time. Actually, the flutter on the passenger side can be caused by the post being too low on the drivers side. Try using the trick similar to what they suggest for a refrigerator door seal. Take a couple of long pieces of paper, lay them over the posts on each corner, close the hood and see which slips out without any resistance. Try that until you can just barely pull it out, or you have just gotten it to where it grabs it tightly. Too high, and it will also change the hood alignment with the fender. I would change the latch position as a last resort.

join the club.....EVERY bonne that i have ridden does this
mine doesent do anything at 120.
Hans i realize that you are in the drivers seat when you are driving 120mph.....the hood flutter is not visible from the drivers seat....Passengers can see it quite clear....I have ridden in 4-5 Bonnes and they ALL have the flutter including my Car....

Try the adjustments as posted and see what happens
I've ridden in both my driver seat and my pass. seat, and I have no hood flutter.

My hood is also about 1/8th to almost a 1/4" too far forward, I just never have the help to get it realigned on the car

Yea my old '87 did this too. Adjusted the stops, just pushed the hood up too far. I figure fine, if it'* latched it'* latched it won't go anywhere and i ignored it.
