Okay, thanks guys. Now that I know that belongs there is it safe to say that I have a bad pcv valve or bad O-ring because there is oil on the pcv valve and on the map sensor. Is it possible the oil is fouling the map and then throwing the P0106 code?

It could be possible. Not sure if they are usually supposed to be filled with oil. They read pressure...but not oil pressure.

Thanks guys, I went and let the dealer check the codes and they came back saying the map sensor was bad along with leaks on both tranny cover gaketss($600) oil pan gasket($300), leak around the oil sending unit($150) and power steering gasket($500). So i took the map back to advance and got a new one and a new pcv as well. Do you guys think any of those leaks are contributing to my map/pcv problem? And should I fix them first? I also got a new EGR gasket and some cleaner, do I just take the EGR off and spray or do I need to do something special?

All those leaks are on the bottom of the motor. They have notihing to do with your bad Map.

On the leaks. Most are fairly easy to fix yourself if you are even a little mechanically inclined.

Oil sender is a pain to get to ..but easy to find and do
Oil pan is a straight on thos and easy to do
Tranny cover gasket...have the fluid and filter changed when they do this....not bad either...just messy.
Power steering is probably a pain to get to and worth having someone else do..but not for 500

Yeah, I'll let some one do the steering. I think I get enough help here to tackle everything else.

Thanks JR, I will check the tranny throughly before making any decisions. I replaced the oil sending unit myself and may have needed to use a little teflon tape, had to do that with the tranny lines at the radiator. I've actually had the oil pan of before. I was trying to replace it because it has a dent, but the pan I found from the junkyard didn't have the same wire connection thing. I may look for another or try to straighten out mine.
