The bolts to remove the Throttle body can be a real #@$#@ to remove. If you have swivel head sockets, that will make the job infinitely easier. other than that, it'* a fairly straightforward process.

BTW: Drain about a gallon of coolant out, there'* some coolant in the throttle body.

I'm assuming you're not supercharged. That sux. SC is a little easier to do.

Remove the crossover pipe heatshield and TB brace (the black piece attached to the TB and rear head) after you disconnect the throttle cables. The L27 has an extra bolt for that heatshield below the TB. It'* a BITCH to get to. A universal sortof helps.

Disconnect the TPS, IAC, and MAF harnesses. Then it'* just the 3 studs.

Clean that TB very well with the MAF sensor removed. Gently clean the MAF filament with a qtip and alcohol (not the beer kind). Clean everything else including the IAC with sensor safe or intake cleaner. Pay close attention to the IAC passage and seat.
