Default Hi! Bonneville 1993, 3.8 SCh has a prob;ems with a (+)

full trottle. Simpthoms are like follows. When slow push - all is ok both at idle and driving. When fast push both idle and driving (kick-down) engine starts shaking till release pedal. All spark plugs, wires, coils, O2 sensor are new. NGK, Tayler, MSD.
PLease advise what can it be.
Last summer I had the problems with fuel pump - when hot fuel pressure gone down after full trottle but now here in Russia the temperatura near 0 degree C.

Thank you in advance

Regards. Vitaly

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

By the way - did you fix the supercharger boost problem?

you need fuel with octain rating of 92 or higher. Problem solved. Your engine is detonating so fast on piston power stroke that it will not run with the supercharger boosting the kind of PSI that is puts out.

let me know if you can find premium fuel.

Default I will try today to find the time to measure fuel pressure

As for gasoline - I use always the same station with 92 - theew was no problem with it.

By the way - I did manage to fix the problem with 56 code. Many thanks to all replyed.

It was sharp description of the problem. After I replace the by-pass soledoid - all are ok!

Regards
