Thanks for the input.

I have a 99 SEL and mine did that all the time. Only on left turns ,but it needed to be driven for a while before it would do it. I had it at the dealer 3 times for that and they could never get it to do it. Then one day they fixed it. They told me ,they reprogramed the computer , not to sure what they really did. They fixed it a 45k mile and I will turn 92k tonight on my way home.

My car did the same thing, tried alot of things such as TPS, change transmission fluid. Found out it had internal seal problems in transmission and other wear and tear so had the whole thing rebuilt. Only had 40,000 miles on 92 Bonneville SE but my late father did not drive it enough to keep things happy. Works great now, too dangerous otherwise!!!!!

I have a 98 SE and had the same problem. I tried plugs, wires, fuel pump, fuel filter...the works. I took it in to the GM dealer and had them scan the computer. Turns out it WAS the computer. They've had many complaints with 98 SEs and this problem, all fixed the same way. Less than 100 bucks. For sure check into that before messing with the tranny. Hope this helps!
