Aiiight well lets get crazy here. Try getting a bottle of a starting fluid from the parts store, something like "Quick Start" or any other. Follow the directions and once you get it started spray 1-1.5sec bursts into the intake and see if you can keep it running. It should tell you either it IS or ISN'T the fuel delivery system. If it stays running when you spray I'd be 99% sure its your fuel delivery. If it makes no difference or doesn't help all that much it probably isn't. Process of elimination baby heh. Also do a compression check on the cylinders. You can get the tool for like $20 bucks but if your mechanic is worth his weight in cardboard he'll have one haha. Good luck

Compression check is good...fuel delivery is fine...cmon he'* gotta be missing something here.

What year is the car???...
I had the same problem a year or so ago...
Ended up being the Pass key...(chip on the key)
There is a way to get it started if thats what it is...

Fuel cuts off if computer dosent get correct info from Pass key....

It'* a 1992 sse. If it is the pass key system how do you bypass it to get the car started and keep it running? Please reply asap.
