Help My Hood Release Is Broken
#11
Hood release broken on ' 92 LeSabre
Many thanks to Bill Buttermore and Technical Ted for the help in their posts in April, 2008
I could not have been successful without the posts and especially the photos. On my '92 LeSabre I had to use a angled inspection mirror to fish a tool between the top of the radiator and the bottom of the hood. This was done from underneath the car reaching up in the space between the radiator fans and engine block. The procedure required much practice and the use of a fluorescent work lamp wedged in place on top of the oil filler cap and dip stick. This held the lamp in place while I fished the tool to release the latch.
Again, many thanks for your help. I am sure ZBNWR is appreciative as well
