You have several things that can do this. Where is the sound coming from? The back half? Could be fuel pump or ELC pump. From the front it could be the blower motor, or cooling fan(*)

I am driving a 96 Bonneville, so the noise has calmed down and now my heat is cold. Someone told me it might be the heater coil?

Check your coolant levels. Can you feel the air coming from the vents? Your first post makes me think your blower motor has gone out.

Well the funny (but not really) funny thing is I had the car diagnosed like 2 weeks ago and they said my blower motor was fine, that i needed a thermostat ( which just had been replaced). So air is blowing out of my vents, but it is freezing and i am in Michigan so thats not a good combo.

You may have air in the cooling system. Try burping the system. Open the radiator cap when cold and check the level. Add if it'* low. Start engine and watch temp gauge. Also watch the coolant in radiator, it should start moving when it gets up to temp. If not, put cap on and squeeze the top radiator hose. There may be a air bubble under the thermostat. doing this should force coolant back threw the thermostat. Once this happens the stat can open and the coolant can flow. There could also be air in the heater core. Once moving it should clear that as well.
