Default Help make my new 93 run!

So it won't start. I go to turn the key and nothing....all of the electronics turn on (except the HUD and two dash screens, but I think that'* cause one of the two breakers in the drivers fuse panel is bad). I don't hear the fuel pump prime. There is no click from the starter or anything. I'm going to try jumping it, but I think it'* getting enough power.

Maybe a bad relay? I've checked every fuse in the car, drivers side, passengers side and under the hood...no bad fuses.

Thanks!

I'll haev a video to upload here in a second.

Brady...are you going to upload a video of a car not doing anything? :?

Check the security light and report back what it is doing. Then move on to ensuring the battery has a full charge.

After that, if all is good, test your coils per TECHINFO article.

No.

You can see what the security light is doing in this vid. When you take the key out after trying to start it the security light flashes. I'll report back about the full charge start...

The security light goes off? It was tough to see when you were moving around so much. Try focusing on the dash when trying to start with the door closed. Similar to how you focused on the radio.

Yes it'll blink a few times and go off.

Maybe you need to blow out the ignition cylinder.

Bill - not a pontiac dealer...I think the closest thing we'd have is a LeSabre FSM.

Wikoff - do you mean blow in the key slot?

I was told by a mechanic to try tapping on the solenoid while someone tries to start it, he said that the solenoid could be stuck since it hasn't been started in so long.

EDIT: I also hooked a fully charged jumper pack up to the car along w/ the battery, didn't do anything...still no start. So electrical supply has been ruled out...

I figure with the security light acting like it is, the key is dirty, the ignition slot is dirty, or something along those lines.
