Default Help! Cutting out under boost!

OK, I've been driving this car for the past 52,000 miles and it has ran great. Now, when it'* under load, in a pull, when the boost goes over 0 it starts to spit back through the intake(you can hear it) and lose power. It'* like a misfire, but the plugs and wires are new. Any ideas?

Hmm, extra fuel in the intake? Leaky injector or fuel pressure regulator?

Don't assume your ignition is good simply because it'* new. Check your plugs and wires.

Recheck your wires and plugs!!!

I had the same problem start occurring when my car had 60k miles on it. Car would run smooth until it reach the beginning of positive boost pressure, then it would shutter and clear up after being in positive boost for a few seconds.

I had wasted a lot of money shotgunning parts (which I no longer dobought a scan tool). I didn't suspect the wires or plugs because I had changed them at about 45k. I drove around with the problem until about 90k when I did a second tune up I discovered that it was either a wire or plug bad. Never tried to figure out which one was bad, was just happy the problem was fixed.

RECHECK WIRES & PLUGS!!!!

I'm gonna pull plugs Friday, It'* getting worse now, and I don't know what else it could be. I put some Iridium plugs from a ~2000 NA park avenue in it, maybe they're burned up.

Don't forget to check you wires also.. I just resolved a similar situation a week ago.. and it was a bad #5 plug wire.. had me scared to death thinkin it was something major..it was Accel super stock that was on there and now I have Belden'* 7MM premium blue wires with lifetime warrenty so when it'* time to do new plugs again.. I will get new wires too hee hee
