Review the security light to ensure it is not a VATS related issue.
Then have someone tap the starter with a hammer or similar (being careful not to hit the aluminum or the wiring contacts) while someone holds the key in the on position. A starter can get dirt and gunk in it that will keep it from working and the tapping/hitting loosens some of that up.
If the tapping trick work, you will want to look into having your starter rebuilt or replaced.
