I had a similar problem some years ago in my 94. Mine would not start immediately after shutdown for an hour or two.

Mine was the harmonic balancer going bad; its interruptor vanes were slicing into the cam and crank sensors. New sensors, and new harmonic balancer, and the problem was fixed and stayed fixed.

Hello

My 95 did the same thing about a year ago. Turned out to be the fuel pump.

Have you had your fuel pressure tested when it acts up?

Or have you noticed the sound of your pump when you key up the ignition? Does is sound slow or sluggish?
