Default Heater Problems

Alright, so after reading over the forum and everyone else that has that infamous air mix acuator problem, my question is WTF? This thing is shoved up inside the dash to the point that you want to rip the entire dash apart and just get the thing out with a pry bar. But i realized i'd like to have a car left after my repair. Does anyone have an extra air mix acuator that they are selling? i went to the dealership and they want $115, there'* no way that im paying this. I have thought about going to a junk yard, but that involves ripping everything apart in the cold and quite frankly i don't want to do that. Finally i thought about asking you guys first.

Rockauto has decent prices on them.

The easy way to pop these out is to get the HVAC programmer out of the way (including disconnecting the electrical to the actuator and then pull the carpet and padding back. Remove the two screws holding the heater box cover on and wiggle it out. The actuator is secured to the top of it. Put your new one one..wiggle back in..set the rod in place, let it run through it'* cycle and pop the rod into the door arm. Button things back up.
