Headlights Dim when Brakes Applied
1994 Olds Delta 88
My headlights now suddenly dim noticeably when I apply my brakes, and this is with an almost new battery and alternator.
Is this a failure anyone has experienced? Is there a specific grounding point that might be allowing this to happen that I should try to clean and tighten?
The actual battery voltage (measured at the battery with a digital voltmeter) does not decrease when the brakes are applied even at idle RPM, by the way.
Thanks,
Bob

the grounds for the head lights are usually on the top of the rad support by the lights. alot of the time those are the first thing to start corroding because they get in the road crap. they need to be shiny metal and put back together and painted or dielectric grease to protect them
