So far, the Air Hog has been great. It feels a lot better than the stock filter because it'* thicker and heavier. Not sure what kind of gains it gets ya, but they're supoosed to be comparable to the K&N'*

It'* in the kitchen drying after it'* first cleaning right now...

that front part is a pita to get out but i dont have a dremel to cut that big part out. any ideas?

I used a hacksaw. Did all that before I fot my dermel.

And there doesn't seem to be any extra dirt or rain. Just a bigger dirty spot on the filter. Prior to the Air Hog, I flipped mine end for end at 3 months or so, and replaced it at 6
