this has got me puzzled, i've got a grinding type of noise and i can feel it in the steering wheel, but, when i turn to the right it stops grinding,, when it is going forward and to the left it makes this sound/feel.. i drive it slow and twitch the wheel to the right,,, goes away, as soon as the wheel straightens out the noise returns?????? any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated.....thanks.. Wheel hub or CV axle, right hand side.

Only when moving? Could it be your brake pads are worn? My old car had really bad front brake pads when I got, and behaved in a similar manner.

Other than that, I'd guess a wheel bearing.

Hub bearing. Replace it now and save yourself the expense of putting in an axle. Keep going and it will eventually freeze up and cause havoc.
