On the P0108, I did a "search" bu typing in "P0108" and it seems that if the sensor is now good, then maybe either the wiring is an issue or like was said before, there is a large vacuum leak. Also, the ERG could be causing an issue according to some information that I found.

There are many other posts, but I just linked this one for starters.

Even if the check engine light is now out, I am not sure, but It may take some time for your car to re-learn how to run right. Make sure you put some miles on it and see if it begins to run better.

I say keep it, you're pot committed. It'* a sharp car, and with all you've put in it (which I doubt you'll get back from a sale), it would be a shame to sell it and then have the buyer put $200 in it and reap all the benefits of the work you've done. I'm not a mechanic, so take my advice with however many grains of salt needed..... but I still say stick it out.

I tend to ditch a car once it starts having major problems. Unfortunately, car problems seem to come one after another.

With this car, you have replaced the trans twice? It may be time to just cut your loss, sell the thing, and move on to something else.

Some cars are just "bad eggs". My old Taurus was. One thing after another went wrong, my wife said "we need to get rid of this piece of **** and get something reliable" and we did - the LeSabre.

With the sensor being replaced, shouldn't the battery be disconnected for 20 minutes to clear the compuuter; so it will learn how the new sensor reacts?
