Default Goodyear NASCAR Eagle #1'* -- LET"* ROLL!

...so, I get up this morning and call to see if my new Goodyear NASCAR Eagle #1 235/55R16 RWL tires are in yet...YES!
OK, only 4 were here, with the last one in transit. That'* enough to drive on!

I went to the Discount Tire shop and brought my 5th wheel with me to leave for the installation of the last tire to get here next week.
I'm happier than hell with the service I got at Discount Tire.

The guy set me up by giving me $40.00 trade-in on the shitty Firestones that were on the car, applied directly toward the Gorilla locking lugnuts and remaining chrome lugnuts for a straight across trade. Plus, I got the chrome valve stem sleeve and caps at no extra charge. NICE.

Then, he split the difference with me on the cost of direct replacement tires should one of them be damaged beyond repair. That'* a free replacement. Add on another $35.00 and I've got my full set of 5 tires, free rotation/rebalancing and flat repair, and the replacement of a bad tire. Good deal.

Last thing was the installation today:
They lined up the valve stem / locking lugnut / NASCAR letters in a row on all the wheels for a uniform look.
Took this team only 20 minutes to get the car in and out, ready to roll.

The tires LOOK REAL GOOD. I mean they changed the entire look of the car. It'* tight. The tires also have some kind of factory ID type striping in the tread in red, yellow and green, which adds to the look.
They ride SO MUCH BETTER than what was on it.
That'* the report so far on the tires!

Them are the type of tires I was going to get for my 17 inch rims. They were $109.99 apiece. But the business went and sold them to an employee, and they are now discontinued for the size I needed. So I got General'* instead. $129.99 tires for $89.99 apiece since they screwed up my order, that I had $200 down on in the first place.

I'll try to get pix in the next few days.
It'* gotta clear up a bit first.
Those white letters really change the look, I'm tellin' ya!
My Wife was talking to her Brother about the "NASCAR" theme...I think she likes it!

If you haven't checked it out lately, NASCAR is the fastest growing 'sport' in the USA.
I mean, it'* everywhere.
Look around at the websites and car parts stores and you'll see NASCAR stuff all over.
It'* even on the UPS site --- they've got a car! AND a truck!
Check it out. It makes a visit by the BBT all the more fun!
