Those tires are sexy, but the UPS delivery "boy" is downright GOUREOUS!

I took all of the decals off of the car except the white pinstripes and GOODYEAR logos. The NASCAR sticker would've worn off soon. The others just didn't look right and garnered too much attention from people I didn't want 'noticing' my car excessively, namely RICERS and Patrol Cars.
UPS delivered my exhaust components today and they will soon be on the car, with pix to follow. I LOVE to see the UPS truck coming...
Here'* what I got so far:

Those are the stock wheels, known as "12-Slot" and they are factory painted with machined rim and section where the caps went.
Matching center caps are off for now. I might try the look with them on sometime, but I like the look without them, showing the chrome lugs. I was looking for somewhat of a NASCAR profile without going overboard.

It seems to be working. Entering the freeway at 0430 this morning I got tired of waiting for the little import to either back off and let me in or show off and get out of the way...BUT, NO! He just diddled along, so I stomped on it and went ahead.
This apparently hurt his manhood or something, 'cuz he came screaming ( potato pooper mufflers to the rescue! ) up the right lane past me after I'd settled in to the speed limit.

I have to do something with the rusty center parts of the axle/front hub when the weather is better.

As for chrome wheels...not on this car. It would detract from the lettering on the tires!

I mentioned that I took off the extra decals and just left the minimum striping and Goodyear letters on. The car is intended to be close to stock looking, but with the added AMERICAN MUSCLE look with RWL tires and the new exhaust I'll be having put on.
It ain't a race car; it ain't a rice car; it'* a 'nice racy car'...if that makes sense.

Thanks for the offer to buy the caps, but, no. I'll keep them with the car so I can switch around for a different look sometime.
One thing I've found with any wheel and center cap is that they either get lost, broken or mismatch.
All the Pontiac wheels I've ever used inevitably end up with no center cap or trim ring because of that.
I just find a way to leave them off and make the center look better or different. Saves a lot of headaches.
Some people just can't handle the look of what I did this time. Too bad.
Nothing there to get lost and it'* the look I wanted.
