Default High Speed shake 65 mph plus/ 5 Goodyear Eagles repl-no luck

So I have an '02 SSEi with the factory chrome 17" wheels and Goodyear Eagles. I have a high speed front end vibration/shake.

My Dealer has replaced "5" of these tires under warranty citing "he cannot balance the tires" I still have the problem and cannot believe they keep replacing tires.

SO it'* going back in- with the steering clunk problem- AGAIN!

Anyone with similiar issues?

thanks

The steering clunk is most likely the intermediate steering shaft. It'* known.

The tires... have them check the front end suspension components. Also.. the brakes and rotors for pulsation.

Recently I had brake issues that didn't cause me issues until highway speeds.

Why can't the dealer balance your tires, explain? If you're ever able to finally rule out wheel balancing, then look into front suspension, brakes, rotors, driveshafts etc. You are hitting a harmonic. How many miles on your car? At what speed does the vibration occur? Is it at the same speed every time? Okay, I just saw the posted subject. This occurs at 65 mph & greater.

Have you tried rotating the tires? Might be time to try a different dealer!

ok, did you ear just one clunk or weird sound when turning slowly(like a parking lot)
on one side?

if yes. My car is doing that, dealer said thats the bearing on the top of my left strut.

and i got vibrations from it 55-65mph (intermitent)

My left wheel tend to to stay closed when i turn to the right, and if i go straight after i turned hard to right, i got that high speed vibration.

Just a shot, but if one of your rims is bent it may cause problems.

Have you had it carefully balanced on a Hunter 9700 force balancer? That machine will check the balance on the bare rim as well if they suspect one rim is causing a problem. That did it for my 03 LeSabre with 16 inch wheels when it had highway speed vibration new. Dealer just rebalanced for me again.

Yes- I have had it on the fancy schmancy Hunter Blancer at the Dealer

I am contacting the Service Manage at the dealer and if they dont get it right this time I am taking it up the chain- to GM.

Yes- While I am standing still or going very slowly and turning the wheel to the right I hear the clunk clunk clunk.
