Does that include the supercharger, various pumps, et cetera? Also does it include the transmission or is that price for just the engine?

Talk to VigCS about the car he just bought and is looking to part out. I know he said his motor was running good with the exception of the EGR valve, which you could use from your old one I would assume. Wouldn't be remanned, but it would be cheaper most likely.

Here is the link to his thread: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...r=asc&start=20

That doesn't look bad to me, especially with that 100K/5yr warranty, but then I've not purchased a 3800 before, by itself.

When buying an engine like this, long block means the block, pistons, heads, oil pump, rockers, timing chain is all there and assembled.

Shortblock is same as long but no heads.

When doing these engine swaps, you must move over your timing chain cover, valve covers, intake, exhaust, flywheel...etc etc.

Price doesn't seem low to me by any means...but I saw a couple performance type parts on that list.

Check here too....I'm not sure what the pricing is....but it'* easy to find on here. Very reputable place, and I've toured their operation twice. Top notch I must say.
