ok...my tensioner is messed up...on it saids number 24501381...but its an invalid gm number...so im goin to order 24501383...Goulds Bros here in monti said that it had a rectangle key on it so i should be fine...should i go for the 83 one?
GM uses "Casting Numbers" on most parts. These P/N'* are used for assembly on the line only. Service P/N'* are used to order replacement parts. Sometimes GM uses the same P/N for both applications, but, most of the time GM does not.
