How do I pull off the front and rear windshields without damaging anything? This is part of my disassebly of my car (see sig for pics).

They have a special tool to cut under the glass. However they probably won't guarantee not breaking it.

Gordy, why don't you just use the same method that was used on the Buick.

I thought about that, but I also need glass to put back in too. Way cheaper to reuse than replace. Unlike the rumors going around, I do not have unlimited funds... lol



Although the front glass may go, I know there is a hail mark in the lower drivers side and there is general wear and tear on the glass surface.

does your insurance have glass coverage???

Car hasn't been on road since early summer

No coverage. BB is is right. Car has been garage and disassembled for a while. Besides, coverage wouldn't pay for the glass removal or repair. The hail damage was done prior to me owning the car so it'* not covered (can't but a car that needs work then have your insurance company pay for the fixes).

Maybe I'll just call a glass company to see what they would charge to do it for me.

Any other ideas? Or knowledge how I can do this myself?

I've seen em use an electric tool...however maybe if they are trying to save the glass..they want certain conditions.
