lately when ive been driving around, my car will make funy noises when i turn from one street to another. its not a clicking noise, i dont know how to describe it. kind of like a high pitched hum, i guess. anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Start with the basics. Is your power steering fluid full?

Does the pitch of the " hum " sound increase & decrease with vehicle speed? Maybe a hub assembly starting to go. Just my guess.

Yes it is full, and no it doesn't have any change in pitch.

If you come to a complete stop and turn the wheel with the engine idling, is the noise still there? Or is it only while your moving?

On a 95 bonneville, where in the engine compartment can I find the power steering fluid reservoir?

Also is it easily accesible without a lift or ramps?

If it'* from the rear of the car, it'* the fuel pump.

Mine is getting louder and louder at 117K.

It'* at the rear of the engine, well down toward the bottom on the passenger side. It'* easier to see with a flashlight, or some type of lighting. You can reach it without raising the car, but be ready to get dirty.

I don't know but when ya get her from under the hood tell her to give me a call........lol
