Default FUNNY CHIME SOUNDING

Everyone is familiar with the BongBongBongBong that the Bonneville does to make you pay attention to the check guages or SES light right?

Well since I put my car all back together after I did a LIM job, when I start the car and put my foot on the brake pedal in PARK..it bongs at me.

It never did that before...No check engine light, no check guages..all sensors reading normal.

Anybody have this before or know what it means?

I guess i could make a video with sound if it would help track down the problem....

Have you checked your brake fluid? They will ding like that if the fluid gets low.

that was the first thing i looked at. The fluid is full. Now ( IE in the last 6 hours) it seems to have quit doing it. However, now I do have a ABS light on....which probably means I need to pull the connector on the speed sensor and clean it up...

hmm. seems odd that both your problems are brake-related though.
