Anyone know how long it takes to drop the tank and replace fuel pump. Also any suggestions on how to do this would be very helpful. Thanks

Well, make sure it'* very close to empty, or at least full of beer.

Disconnect your harnesses first. You may have to drop your exhaust from the rear hanger, then there'* just 2 straps holding it in. You'll need a buddy. Very straightforward. What are you after?

I have made up my mind my problems are from weak fuel pump. Car will idle but when you ask for fuel it will die. Hit it with a squirt of starting fluid an she wants to run like a raped ape.It probably needs it anyways with 230,000 miles on her. And yes I did replace the fuel filter LOL. Didn't have a fuel pressure tester but I'll give this a shot

If you know you're starving for fuel, the FPR is another candidate, especially in colder weather.
