frontend hubs
I don't know if i'm in the right place but here it goes .Yesterday my wifes 97 n/a bonn, wheel bearing went out and the thing cost'* $135 at napa advance was higher and auto zone was even higher@140 &155 thats very expensive.I went through napa because he gives me discounts? My neighbor told me I had to take the frontend apart ,so I did on the right side and after I got to looking all I had to take off was the wheel and the brake caliper and tha three screwes and the hub fell out yeha
Glad to hear you got it fixed!
There should have also been a big 34(?) mm nut to hold the end of the drive axle in place in the hub. If it wasn't there, be sure to get one and install it.

did it just like up and go out? or was it a gradual process, i always thought wheel bearings were something that declined gradually instead of straight up failing like that.
