Default Found a Transmission , before I install ,I have a couple ?'*

I checked out Car-parts.com for trans compatibilty, and found a used transmission at a slavage yard not to far from my place ( thanks Mr.Buttermore ) ,another bonus is Its being delivered to my front door step for 10 bucks and come'* with a 3 month no hastle warranty.Questions #1- I was just curious as to what other parts I might as well change out while the trans and cradle are out like bushings, mounts ect.. # 2Also anyone have a link to a 4t65e Trans swap with pick'*. Thanks Pauly.

Are you planning on rebuilding this as long as it is out and accessible? Depending on mileage, it might be a good idea. If I was doing this, I would replace any tranny mounts that seemed at all suspicious

Paul...sounds like you have a good idea of what this entails.

I'd check the steering components espcially the inner tie rods. Consider the rear main seal on the engine if it'* ever seeped in that area.
