That big hose there.. It'* leaking coolant by the seal that you screw to tighten.. Don't know what they're called. But I tried to tighten it and it'* as tight as I can get it.. Should I take it off and move it up and tighten it again? There'* a slow leak there, a few drops, but it hits the engine and starts to smoke. That'* how I noticed it.

It looks like coolant, but I couldn't see where the hose went and I didn't wanna get my hands more dirty than they were; I was about to go to lunch, so I didn't take anything out and have to put it back in, so I just took a pic. I expect it goes to the radiator though.

Anyone now what that hose is for and how I might fix that?

That'* your upper radiator hose. With the engine cold loosen the clamp and then grab the hose. Twist it back and forth a few times. It might take a bit to do this. Once it moves a bit, tighten the clamp again and see if that helps.

Can you post a picture of the underside of your oil fill cap? Or getting a nice clear picture of the opening on top of your valve cover where the oil fill caps goes?

That yellowish/brown sludge I see in the opening doesn't look good.
